Meet and great at Kilimanjaro airport with hotel transfer and briefing. The rest of the day free.


Most travellers arrive by international flight into Kilimanjaro airport, situated at the North of the country near Arusha town. Kilimanjaro airport and Arusha town are the most popular and convenient springboards from which to explore the legendary Northern Tanzania game-viewing circuit.

Up on arrival to Kilimanjaro airport you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. At that point you will receive our client-envelope containing all important travel documents for services that we have booked for you, as well you will have a chance to chat about your itinerary and other points of interest that you may wish to know about - make the most of our knowledge and ask all the questions you can think of! Depending on the time of your arrival to Kilimanjaro/Arusha, you will have the rest of the day free.

If you wish to explore round Arusha and visit some of it's attractions, you'll need to spend another overnight. We have put together Arusha Excursion list, inclusive points of interest like:

Arusha - Lake Manyara

Start your safari. Travel to Mto Wa Mbu village for cultural walk and Lake Manyara NP for game-drive.


08.00h - Our driver-guide will meet you at the reception of your hotel to take you out on safari. Your adventure starts here! Travel West into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara. On the way stop at Mto-Wa-Mbu for cultural walk through these busy African village - a boiling pot of Cultures from different corners of the country! Learn what people do for living, learn different modes of production and what exists in these cultures. *(local school visit possible, but depends on day and time!) Afternoon game-drive at Lake Manyara National Park, the wildlife park famous for its tree-climbing Lions, heard of Elephants and Buffalos as well as mayor breading ground for migratory birds. Lunch, dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Lake Manyara National Park offers a compact safari experience that gives visitors the chance to see everything from the vibrant flamingos to the fearsome tree-climbing lions also famous for its large elephant population. The game park is dominated by Lake Manyara, a fluctuating body of alkaline water set within a shallow sump at the base attracting a staggering diversity of birds.

Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater

Continue to Ngorongoro highlands with game-drive inside the crater.

Start your day early. Drive up the Ngorongoro highlands into the Ngorongoro Crater for game-drive inside the crater-floor. Ngorongoro Crater - worlds largest unbroken caldera (19.2km in diameter), surrounded by steep walls (610m deep) is home to around 30 thousands of animals. Spend your morning on game-drive followed by ascent out of the crater into your lodge/camp for lunch. Afternoon spend at leisure of your lodge/camp enjoying the views over the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and shelters an area of astounding beauty and superb game viewing. Sometimes described as an ‘eighth wonder of the world’, the Crater has achieved world renown. You are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. It is one of the most likely areas in Tanzania to see the endangered Black Rhino, as a small population is thriving in this idyllic and protected environment.

Ngorongoro Crater

Full day game-drive round Ngorongoro Conservancy.

Day spent out on game-drive searching for wildlife with picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Wildlife Conservancy. You'll drive further into the park towards the side of Serengeti and Lake Ndutu.

OPTIONAL: En route, visit • Olduvai Gorge museum where one of the oldest mankind remains (Homo Hablis - "hand man") has been discovered. Among these other fossils can be seen here, including prehistoric Elephants, giant horned Sheep and enormous Ostriches • Traditional home visit to "Manyatta" where local Maasai tribesman live.

NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

  • The jewel, Ngorongoro Crater, a deep crater full of wildlife
  • The Serengeti Plains support about 2.0 millions migratory wildlife species of the Serengeti Mara-ecosystem
  • The Oldupai Gorge, archaeological and palaeontological site
  • Topography and views of the surrounding Crater Highlands are out of this world
  • A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown, a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breath-taking natural wonder. The Serengeti Plains that support about 2.0 millions migratory wildlife species of the Serengeti Mara-ecosystem. Because of these particular features and the harmonious co-existence between wildlife and people that has existed for many years, NCA was accorded the status of a World Heritage Site and listed as one of the International Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO's Man and Biosphere Reserve Programme.

Ngorongoro Crater - Zanzibar Island

Travel back to Arusha. Fly to Zanzibar Island. Hotel transfer followed by beach leisure.


After relaxing morning and breakfast travel back via Rift Valley to Arusha catching your flight to ZANZIBAR ISLAND. We'll pick you up from Zanzibar airport and transfer you to your beach hotel to enjoy the rest of your holiday on sandy beaches of Indian Ocean.

OPTIONAL: Enroute back to Arusha there is • Masai cultural museum and • Snake park worth to visit.
